More..

After our nice relaxing time, enjoying luxury, we went back in our little bus, drove to the Masaya Volcano, the spaniards used to call it the "gate to hell", there's still lava bubbling at the bottom, but we don't see it, we can smell the sulfurous gases rising above, and it's not recommended to spend more than 20 mns out there. It was amazing to have the taste of the sulfur in our mouth for a while after leaving the site.

On the road again, direction Masachapa, check in at the Vista Mar Hotel sitting on a beautiful beach with black sand, diner and bed time, ready to meet the families and work the next morning.

Story of a Life time trip

We are back home now and I have had 3 days to digest this amazing trip and try not to be so emotional about it. I wanted to do a nice presentation but this is too complicated and if wait for too long then I'll forget. So here is the simple basic diary !
So let's go back to the first day, after the Granada visit in the morning, we all were invited for lunch in that amazing private island on Lake Cocibolca, our hosts Sonia and Jose Antonio did everything so we could feel at home... and we did !! what a nice way to spend the last day before climbing on a basic scaffolding, under a boiling sun, building a wall !

Nice cocktail, good dip in the infinity pool, relaxing time on the hammock, delicious food, waterski for the kids, fascinating conversation with our hostess Sonia who had, so far, the most amazing life, in many senses.
